If you're researching Ikos resorts for a family holiday, you've probably already realised that these aren't your average all-inclusive hotels. The question isn't whether Ikos is worth it; it almost certainly is, but which resort is right for your family and how to plan it, so you get every detail right.
I'm an Ikos Specialist with first-hand experience of every property in the portfolio. This is my guide to the best Ikos resorts for families, based on first-hand experience.

What Makes Ikos Different for Families
Ikos redefined the all-inclusive concept for families who refuse to compromise on quality. Under the Infinite Lifestyle™ concept, your stay features à la carte dining at multiple restaurants with menus designed by Michelin-starred chefs, premium drinks, kids' clubs for ages six months to 17 years, watersports, and the Dine Out programme, where you dine at carefully selected local restaurants at no extra charge.
It's genuinely all-inclusive in a way that doesn't feel like typical all-inclusive. That's the appeal, and for families spending £5,000–£25,000+ on a single holiday, it matters.

Key Questions Families Get Wrong When Booking Ikos
Which resort suits my children's ages?
This is the most important question, and the answer isn't always obvious from resort descriptions alone. The kids' club experience, pool layout, and beach access vary significantly between properties.
Is the Deluxe Collection worth it?
For some families, yes, it can alleviate the Ikos experience. For others, the non-deluxe experience delivers everything you need. It depends on your family's priorities, travel party, and budget, and we can tell you exactly where it makes a difference.
When should I book restaurant reservations?
Ikos dining is one of the great pleasures of the holiday. Get the timing wrong on reservations, particularly the Dine Out programme, and you'll miss out on the experiences that make it special. Our consultation service will help you with the ultimate tips and insider restaurant tricks.
What are the best room types for families?
Room categories vary considerably across the portfolio, and the difference between rooms can define your stay.

What's new for Ikos 2026?
Kissamos opens its doors in April 2026.
Ikos Porto Petro and Ikos Odisia for the 2026 season. Both of our resorts welcome brand-new Villas to their selection of accommodation, each with its own private gardens and pools. The villas will form part of the Deluxe Collection.
A significant enhancement to your Ikos experience: the all-new Ikos Local Drive Adventure, powered by an exclusive collaboration with MINI. Starting in 2026, Ikos guests can enjoy a complimentary day of discovery in a state-of-the-art electric MINI Countryman, replacing the Tesla partnership.
Golf fans at Ikos Odisia and Ikos Dassia can enjoy a new, exclusive Local Discovery experience at the historic Corfu Golf Club. As part of the Unconditional Luxury concept. Guests can enjoy a complimentary morning round of golf on this celebrated course.
New for deluxe guests is a complimentary Heroes Supper Club. Children aged 4 to 12 can enjoy an evening dinner and supervised activities while parents enjoy some well-deserved time to themselves.
